Taryn Fisher is an attorney, advocate, and elected official whose work centers on helping individuals and families navigate some of life's most consequential transitions. An experienced family law attorney, Taryn has spent much of her career advocating for her community, women, children, and families, with a particular commitment to ensuring that people feel heard, informed, and empowered within systems that can often feel overwhelming.

Beyond her legal practice, Taryn has been actively involved in civic life and is passionate about building stronger, more connected communities. She has a well-developed perspective of an attorney, small-business owner and entrepreneur, as well as a practical understanding of governance, advocacy, negotiation, and organizational leadership.

Taryn believes deeply in the power of community, meaningful human connection, and creating spaces where people feel they belong. She is the mother of two teenagers and, when she isn't working or volunteering, is happiest traveling, hunting for vintage treasures, listening to music, or spending time near — or preferably in — the water.
